Cheryl E. Perkins, MD, FAAP

Dr. Perkins obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Georgia in Athens and her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She completed her three-year Pediatric residency in Charleston, South Carolina at the Medical University of South Carolina. After graduation, Dr. Perkins worked as a physician in a private practice in California for three years. She relocated to Waycross, Georgia in 1993 and then to Statesboro, where she is board-certified with the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been practicing since 2002.

Dr. Perkins is Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.

Austin Whitlock, MD, FAAP

Dr. Whitlock grew up in Statesboro and graduated from Statesboro High School. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Biology at the College of Charleston and his MD at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Whitlock performed his Pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, where he was a member of the faculty in 2005-2006 before returning to Statesboro to join Bulloch Pediatrics. He is board-certified with the American Academy of Pediatrics

Michelle Zeanah, MD, FAAP

Dr. Zeanah is home-grown, born in Dalton, Georgia. Dr. Zeanah received her Bachelor of Science degree from Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama, and she received her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia in 2002. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Florida, Shands Jacksonville, and Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida in June 2005. Dr. Zeanah is board-certified with the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is especially interested in eczema, allergies, asthma, and advocacy for foster children. She joined Bulloch Pediatrics in 2007.
